Thanks for the Team Captains packet. I will start a team for AJ which will show Raytheon Andover's donations, and the other funds raised by the other team mates. I'll keep you updated. Thanks again.
My walk is finished..Time to focus on Robbie's Rescuers Oct 5th. See me at work Bob with whatever I need to get started. Remember I just raised $865.00 by myself. I love this stuff....We will find a cure.
Hi Kelly, so glad you joined the group. The extended family is so important in helping find the cure. The parents have their hands full as we well know.
Hey, Susan and Rob thanks for signing up. I'm still waiting for a few other people at work I have talked to. I'm so glad you're hooked up with Autisimspeaks. That's where all my funds are going to from my walk. What would be the best way to make the donation? I'll ask Robert at work.
I work in Andover and my 15 year old grandson has severe Autism. He is non verbal and I just know he's smart as a wip inside there somewhere. My goal is to find a cure for Autism so that my grandaughter, who is 14, will have better odds than 1 in 150 of having a normal child.
My purpose of starting this page is to get helpers to get the money from the not yet touched families and put it into research to find the cure. Most of the people who donate are us... the ones who already have an Autistic family member. Yea, once they have a child of their own with Autism they will jump on the bandwagon like we all did. We gotta tell them we aren't raising the money to cure our kids, it's their kids we are fighting for.
