About Me:

My name is Debbie. I have been with my husband James for 13 years (we have been married for 5 years). We have a wonderful son Matthew. He is 3 years old. I am pregnant with our second child which is going to be another boy! =)

About Your Autistic Family Member:

My son Matthew has Autism. I noticed a change in him at about 19 months. He has come a long way. He is starting to talk a little now. He says about 50 words. He loves music and dancing. He is a very happy child. I love him with all my heart. He is truly amazing.

Favorite Thing To Do With Your Autistic Family Member:

I love snuggling with Matthew. He is so loving. We also like to go to the park together and playing like we are dinosaurs. Anytime with Matthew is my favorite time.

Thing You Hate Most About Autism:

How it robs our children of certain experiences. How I may never hear "I Love You". How he may never have a life of his own. How it is stealing more and more kids everyday.
