About Me:

I am 49 yrs. old and have 6 children. Four daughters who have grown up and moved away, and two sons who are 11 and 13. We are from NJ, but have been living in San Diego, California for two yrs. We moved to find a better school district for our sons. My husband is a RN in the ER, and I'm a stay at home mom.

About Your Autistic Family Member:

My sons are ages 11 and 13 and both have autism and fragile x syndrome. The 13 yr. old is non-verbal, and the 11 yr. old is higher functioning but has serious health issues. They are both very happy little boys and a blessing to have.

Favorite Thing To Do With Your Autistic Family Member:

Going to the playground when there are no other kids there. The kids stare at my son when he makes sounds and hand flaps, so we always have a great time by ourselves.
