I am a happily married woman. I have 2 children. I also homeschool my daughter. Other than that I'm just your typical everyday mom.
About Your Autistic Family Member:
My son Michael is 9 yrs.old now. He is a very outgoing & loving child. He loves to laugh. He likes to watch noggin & play on the website. He also enjoys webkinz. He does really well with the computer. He loves numbers so he does really well with his math program at school. Michael is now a cub scout. He is a bear and he is loving it.
Favorite Thing To Do With Your Autistic Family Member:
Let's see this question varies depending on what people in my household want to do. It's fun to sit down and play board games sometimes and Michael really enjoys it. I love to just watch him play his deer hunting game because he don't look for the deer he looks for the bears. And when he finds them he laughs so hard it's just so funny. He's such a character. I also love to take him clothes shopping. Yeah I know this is odd because he is a boy but he loves getting new clothes. And yes he let's me know what he likes.
Thing You Hate Most About Autism:
Ignorance of people who do not know about autism.

hi thanks so much for your message always nice to hear from you.you sound a very busy lady which is nice in one way but mind you dont over do it..think we take on things without realising just how much time they take up. i know last year i used to go to a weight control programme with joseph it was twice a week and very interesting but 2 nights where i had to go if i felt like it or not.while he was there he did very well and was interested in eating the right foods and reading labels for fat and sugar etc., but now we dont go he seems t have lost interest. joseph isnt one for cakes and would sooner eat a dish of veg and meat but he does seem to need large portions or he gets pains with hunger its a bit of a vicious circle really.i watched your new president the other day i do hope he can male the changes he promises but its never easy for them isit when they take over from the other one.
im feeling rough again tonight have a queen of a cold now. oh yes meant to say joseph has a little hamster now and he is very gentle with him.hope he doesnt get bored with it too quickly !!! ok have a good night take care lynda

havent been on here for ages. had that awful flu virus twice and felt really bad the second time it came back was Christmas day and was stuck in bed for 4 days i missed all the sales this year...hows life been treating you and yours?
Joseph has had some really bad violent tantrums but is off all medication now as he was putting on so much weight.i wish you a happy new year and a healthy one too.

hi how is Michael doing now hope he,s ok.you know that comment i did when i wason myspace just coied the code and tried it out to see if it would work on here and was surprised when it did....joseph has had some really bad days with his tantrums so were taking each day at a time now. hoping he can stay off the meds if lisa can cope..had a nice sunny day for a change. take care x

Hi Kristie - thanx for your comment - Michael is a cutie! I havent heard of the webkinz - i will have to look into that! Steven likes cbeebies and the zac browser best! He is very good on computer - and navigates his way around sooo fast!

hi Kristie oh dear do hope Michael is feeling better now.thats the trouble as soon as they go back to school the germs seemto be waiting for them..so cold tonight and still raining. joe has been better he,s had a few strops but not violent so we can cope with that.take care

Hi Kristie - thanks for commenting on my blog!! Steven has had a great 1st week - Im sooo pleased! The only problem they have had was they had to get a special harness for him on the bus because he kept taking off his seatbelt and running around the bus whenever they stopped to pick up children! Hes sorted now - he cant move!!! Hope to speak to you soon! - Anita
