- I am 34 years old with a great husband and 2 wonderful daughters. I am a beautician that is trying to become a stay at home mom. I'm here for education and support.
- About Your Autistic Family Member:
- My daughter is 14. She was diagnosed as pdd-nos 5 years ago. She is such a sweet and loving girl. Her triggers are stress, schedule changes, changes in routine(what's for supper, etc.), and hormonal (before and during menstration). She will start 9th grade in a few weeks.
- Favorite Thing To Do With Your Autistic Family Member:
- We love to sit and look through catalogs! We enjoy movies also. Her latest craze is dirt track racing. She wants to go EVERY weekend.
- Thing You Hate Most About Autism:
- I hate that I feel so helpless and I can't take this away from her. When I see the frustration in her eyes it breaks my heart because I know she doesn't know what to do with it.

Update on Caitlin starting high school
Caitlin started high school on the 25th. She made it a whole week. She was so excited until we pulled up to let her out. She began to cry and say she didn't want to go to school. The vice principal came out to the car and coaxed into the school. We recieved a call about an hour later. She wanted to come home. We went and got her and after about an hour she wanted to go back to school. After that first day we decided to get her to school 30 minutes early so there wouldn't be a lot of kids standin… Continue
